Facebook owns everything for ever
So it seems that Facebook has changed its TOS abit and now claims permanent and complete rights to everything you post on there..ever.
This sounds familiar. Didn't google chrome try this as well around 6 months ago?

I predict a reversal after public outcry.  In a few days they'll claim it was a mistake that shouldn't have happened.  I'll bet their users' content is something they 'take very seriously'.

In a statement, Facebook said its policy of maintaining a license over old content is consistent with the general use of its site and other Web services like e-mail. For example, if a Facebook member sends a message to a friend, that message remains in the friend's inbox even if the sender quits the site. The company said this is similar to Web-based e-mail, where sent messages remain archived in recipients' inboxes even if the sender's account is deleted.
That makes a lot of sense, really.  It makes sense for facebook to make sure their ass is covered, legally speaking, when it comes to one user sending photos to another and then quitting facebook, expecting all the copies of the photo to magically disappear also.

I'm still waiting for them to say they 'take it very seriously', which is modern corporate-speak for 'our lawyers said it would look good if we pretended to care'.  =D
