Subject: Cartoon children need protecting too!
So you may have heard that an Australian court has decided that cartoon child porn is officially illegal. I gotta say I'm no fan of poorly drawn Simpsons porn, but this ruling has me rather annoyed.
Please allow me to elucidate:
All of these conclusions are fucking frightening. If this is allowed to stand then we can honestly say that Australia is a frighteningly draconian state, where you can't sketch disgusting things about imaginary people 'cause it might lead you towards doing real things later.
Well, video games, books, comics, music, poetry, cartoons, movies, TV shows... Anything where a person, real or imagined, comes to harm or might make you want to harm them, is now cause for criminal action and - as this poor pervert found out - hefty fines.

- It is now law in Australia that cartoon kids are just as important as real ones.
