Subject: Gradius' Vic Viper toy
Gradius, a game which doesn't deserve its fan following, had at least one thing going for it: a beautifully designed ship for the player to wield.  The Vic Viper has long been available as a toy/figure, not only as a plastic toy but also a die-cast model, papercraft etc.  None though as gorgeously detailed as this:
