Subject: Why this forum runs in secure mode
As some of you have noticed, coming to this forum throws up a warning about a potentially insecure SSL certificate.  This forum can run in secure mode, but the check it performs to determine if it's secure or not is kinda broken.  It works on Apache, the worlds most common web server, but not on several others - including this one.

I've been in contact with both the authors of the server software, and the author of the forum, and the flaw has been identified and a solution should be coming soon.

Sorry for any hassle.

Update: It's already been fixed.  Woo yay!
